Introduction Scale 1/8 Sculptor ?? Maker Akagiya Completed 12/19/99 Parts 12 Retail 3500yen This is an old kit, probably manufactured in the early to mid 90's? I got it from a guy who was selling his GKs from a japanese webpage; happens all the time, when you've built so many GKs you finally want to sculpt and no longer want to deal with your pile in the closet. I was lucky the guy was willing to sell to me even though we have a little bit of communication problem due to the difference in language. He sold it at half price, the original costs around 7000 yen. While this is an H kit, the characters aren'tdoing anything lewd... isn't all that interesting, but multi-character kits are rare, especially H ones, so at this killer price, why not? Anyway I can't talk about this kit without giving them names can I... but since the kit didn't come with instructions I can't really tell. Let me just call the one with stockings Jessy and her friend Sarah, how 'bout that? There's a Lipstick II :)   Kit Review Seam lines: ?/5   Pinholes: ?/5   Casting: ?/5   Fit: ?/5   Part Break: ?/5   Help The kit clearly shows its age; the casting isn't terrible, but don't know if it's due to the casting or the sculpting, the surface is quite rough, even the breasts were quite bumpy. Fit was quite bad too, and lots of mid-calve part divisions. Sarah's face was sunk in... argh! I was worried, but it seems to turn out ok.   Building Since this isn't such a killer kit I didn't spend too much time on it. I used the slo-zap + baby power putty to fill all the gaps and remove seamlines. But some areas showed pinholes after sanding, I think it's due to my mixing with too much baby powder, plus I didn't grind down the bigzzer sized powder chunks. Sarah's calves weren't sanded all that well and uneven surface can be seen around them... but who cares. I tried to give the duo slightly different skintones, Jessy is more pale than Sarah. It wasn't all that obvious tho. I like how Jessy's face turned out, she has a "I'm so sexy for the cat" look; inspired, I made those flying hair strands for her... out of cardboard! They don't break as easily as sheet plastic, but they deform easily. I think her face is the best part of the kit... hell, it looks different than the rest of the kit! The duo lay on the "velvet underwear that comes from second hand store" featured in the Asuka & Rei kit. This time I use acrylic modelling paste to give relief to the velvet, so that body parts will depress the velvet. I think it turned out quite well, except next time a piece of cloth should be used to "test fit" the modelling paste, right now some paste got stuck to the velvet and small areas of white can be seen as the velvet is a little transparent. Overall I'm quite pleased with this quick hack :)
