Introduction Scale 1/20 Sculptor N/A Maker Bandai Completed 12/26/01 Parts 2+1 Retail N/A Ramba Ral and his devoted partner Crowley Hamon, one of the tragic couples in the original MS Gundam. Ramba is a loyal Zeon ace and a master strategist, piloting his trademark blue mobile suits and has won many wars. His met his match when he fought Amuro on a mission to avenge Garma Zabi. While he was amazed at the Gundam pilot's ability, he was convinced it was only due to the superior mobile suit. He is one of the lucky ones who was able to escape without being destroyed by the Gundam. His luck didn't last however, when he was denied reinforcement and had to go on a failed suicide mission to blow up the White Base. To avoid capture, he blew himself up. His lover/wife (wasn't made clear in the show) assumed command of Ramba's remaining troops and tried to avenge Ramba's death, but she was also killed in her Dopp Fighter. I like figure pairs, for example the good'ol rivals Norris and Shiro. The Crowley figure comes with the MG Gouf, and Ramba Ral comes with his Zaku I custom. I made a tutorial for building these two. [Update 12/30] One of the viewer pointed out Crowley's nose was deformed, which you can see on the right (thanks!), so I fixed it. It was a bit of a pain to have to redo her face all over, but it was worth it! I also gave her a meaner stare, Sieg Zeon style :)   Kit Review Seam lines: 3/5   Pinholes: 5/5   Casting: 4/5   Fit: 5/5   Part Break: 4/5   Help Typical MG figure quality - cast in sucky plastic, though Crowley's seams were minimal. Rambal Ral's 2 pieces are most of his body, and the cap with his arms. I modified Ramba to have him crossing his arms, the original pose is on the left, or you can see it on Bandai's site. I also created a depression in his chest so that his posture is more natural, but it's not very visible due to the Zeon insigna.   Building See the tutorial. .
