Marin-chan is from a hit manga "Soreyuke Marin-chan" which is roughly "There goes Marin". Haven't seen it, but from what I've read is about the "Japanese preservation plan" which attempts to collect sperms of 100 people... ok that's more than anyone needs to know. There's going to be a 3-episode OVA so it may appear in the US someday.
I took an immediate liking to the kit, the anatomy is excellent - I care a lot about body muscles and curves, and Satou-san the sculptor is very good at that. Her pose is also very....ummmm.... appealing. So even though I'm not into Dolly Parton type women I still shelve out for this kit.

Building
Love doing the skintone on a well sculpted kit. Satou-san's build up was a bit flat I think, and I hope I have done a better job. I finally realize the Pearl-Ex Brillant Gold I bought is also a pearl powder, not metal flakes, which explain why they give such good pinpoint reflection like pearl, rather than the uniform shine like metal... and that's great for hair! She's given a base coat of brown, dark brown wash, then the powder mixed in clear orange for highlight, and clear brown for shadows. Then a lighter clear brown is sprayed overall to dull down the gold to a more orangey color.
She is one of the most difficult kit to take photos of. Her hair bang is huge, which obscures her face easily, and normal angles will cast dark shades which almost completely cloud the eyes. So I have to elevate her at an angle while clamping her base... ugh. During the photo session she took a nose dive and her butterflies at the end of the hair ribbon falls off... didn't realize until now. Right, like anyone cares about the ribbons.
