This kit is called: "Bond Professional Work: Underground figure
seriess #1 - Dark Invitation ~Jun~" :) I suspect Bond must be Bangle
who sculpted the Emiruma series for Akagiya, their style is very much
alike. Jun is much like Emiruma Lea. Anyway this kit is pretty nicely
sculpted, though the cuddled pose dull down my interest as time went by,
don't know why; but I still like her very much. This is the first of a
series of very well sculpted figures for this genre. There's also a Jun
2 which at the time of writing is on order.
She is actually pretty small for a 1/6, closer to 1/7 I think. False
marketing... but anything would be better than Kaiyodo calling a 1/12
kit 1/8...

Kit
Review
Seam lines: ?/5 Pinholes:
?/5 Casting: ?/5 Fit: ?/5 Part
Break: ?/5 Help
Parts: chain, weight, right leg, left leg, left foot, leg gear, arm gear,
right arm, right hand, left arm, l & r hair, front hair, back hair,
face, upper & lower body, 3 locks.
This kit is not for beginners! There are many parts divided up and there's
no clear instruction on what to do about the chains, so you have to make
something up. Fit is ok, but you really need to test fit everything or
you'll end up like me, messing up the paint job fixing up things. The
arms and legs fits mostly, but some gaps are still visible; the hair definitely
needs filling between them. The face fits very snugzzly into the back hair,
in fact you have no hope of pulling it out once it's in. There are quite
a few pinholes on the knees. Otherwise mostly well-cast.
The chain that comes with the kit is a plastic one and looks very heavy.
I've lost it somehow, and I'm using a smaller blackened chain from Model
Shipways. It looks better anyway.

Building
I was experimenting with new skintone with her, but didn't get it right.
So I tried to fix her with oil but somehow the oil didn't stick well to
the surface; moreover I smudged the oil quite badly while doing the final
assembly, she looked a bit messed up ;_; Eventually I re-airbrushed and
reapplied oil. Got a bit of superglue on the right arm, so I made a couple
of little scratches on top of it... I like those less than I thought I
would.
The buildup on the box is done extremely well, especially the metal parts.
I tried to use Mr. Metal Color and polish up, but the golden parts are
still not as shiny... wonder if the buildup uses real miniature metal
locks? The locks are molded shut, and you need to cut them open in order
to fit them into the shackles. I opt to use an aluminum wire for the lock,
at least that's shiny...
