Introduction Scale 1/8 Sculptor ? Maker Volks Completed 6/99 Parts 13 Retail 3800yen This is a really small kit for 1/8 (hence the price). How it comes with such a huge box is anyone's guess. Aoi's from the game "To Heart", a popular H-game that spawns an anime and series of GK figures. Volks' one of the earliest. While I've never played the game, I like the fact that Aoi is a member of schools fighting club. She looks cute with the bandaid on her face. At 3800yen I thought it's a good deal. It also includes the heart-shaped base.   Kit Review Seam lines: 4/5   Pinholes: 4/5   Casting: 4/5   Fit: 4/5   Part Break: 5/5   Help Parts: skirt, lower & upper body, l&r arms, hands (one piece), l&r legs, bag, base, face, back & front hair. The kit is cast in weird pink resin, but works and smells like normal resin. It's got a couple of pinholes but otherwise no major problems. I don't like the the place where the body meets the arms leaving gaps, although I assume they are some sort of uniform styling from all the pictures I've seen; so I filled it up.   Building Building is pretty straightforward. I didn't glue the upper and lower body, but rather make a secure pin in between so that I can take the skirt off :) Painting - I thought the white strips on the uniform was going to give me grief so I liquid masked them. It works pretty well although I had to do quite a lot repainting to fix the peeled off paint.
