Undergraduate in University of Washington. BS in Computer Science, Statistics and Mathamatics. I have done 2 senior projects in computer scienece: implementing a C++ version of the planner UCPOP and implementing a browser in C++ for an object oriented design system. |
| 6/94-9/94 | Worked in Geoworks, implementing an IRDA protocol in 8086 assembly language. |
| 9/94-6/96 | Back to UW for Masters. Implemented a query planner Occam. Paper published in AAAI. |
| 6/96-11/97 | Worked in the Internet startup NetBot, founded by my advisors. Worked on an online shopping agent. |
| 11/97-10/98 | NetBot was bought by Excite, so now I work in Excite. Worked on porting the shopping agent to Solaris and the associated changes in server architecture, mostly on front ends. Done a few projects with Perl and Oracle later on, including the mail service at mail.excite.com and an internal content update server. |
| 10/98 | Resigned from Excite and back to my research in Internet stuff. |
| 00 - present | Switched to working on robotics. |
