It’s been more than a while since my last update (actually exactly a year!), but now that I’ve almost rebuilt my modeling space, I can finally finish some kits (rather than snapping them together and admire
) I bought a cheaper compressor than my SilentAire that I used in the states, it was giving me some grief early on with dust collecting in the brush, but now I’ve fixed it and could do some real painting.
Unfortunately I’m still strapped of time for modeling… other things in life take priorities (like planning a trip to Antaractica…). Also I’ve found that there just aren’t that many inspiring figure kits, and my interests in figures has dropped significantly. I still have my backlog of figure kits (like my grail Berserk kits), but I’d be very lucky to finish them… haha.
Now to satisfy my appetite for finishing kits, I’m mostly doing gunplas. Perhaps when I get back into the flow of modeling, I’ll probably start again on more ambitious projects…
Hey Cody, glad to hear that you are still around. I thought you have given up this site.
By the way, what do you do for a living? Are you doing some sort of National Geographic kind of stuff with all your traveling?

I think most people would have given up looking at your blog already, but I was certain you would come back to this space to update it. Well, many things have happened over the past year, so what have you been busy with lately exactly, as well as what kits have you been doing/thought of?

Nah me no National Geographer
Just wanted to see more of the world lately
I’ve been mostly doing mecha/gunpla kits lately; didn’t get to paint until about a month ago, so it might take a bit of time to work myself back to some more interesting works.
So far I (almost) finished a SRW OG Ikkitousen kit (cos it’s tall
), MG Gouf, Gundam 2.0, Guntank, Astray Blue Frame and a Providence. Finishing up an Exia… might be finishing up MG Gyan, Gelgoog & Zaku 2.0 plus a Nu and 00 Gundam 7 swords over the holidays.
Yes I’ve become a mecha junkie!
My photo setup is still in the states and I haven’t moved them over, so I haven’t posted any stuff yet.
But thanks for checking back… by this time I’d have thought no one would be reading anything, haha~

I thought something happened to you in your travels…I also have a lot of kits to finish and your work inspires me to keep going. Happy New Year! I look forward to seeing some more of your completed kits.

Glad to see you are getting back into it. With this day and age of pre-painted figures, it seems like creativity levels are so low, fewer and fewer garage kits come out to much attention. But people like you inspire others to be creative and go the extra mile.
