Faye Faye!

The infamous herione from Cowboy Bebop, a great series. Faye is a woman on the run from massive gambling debt, and joined up with the bounty hunters Spike and Jet on the spaceship Bebop.

I like Faye a lot as a character. She has very strong personality and has been through a lot (not to mention very vain about her good looks ^_^), and yet she has a touch of childishness.

This rendition of Faye is done very well. The pose emits a sort of coolness, and I *love* the reality of the sculpture – blending style with an almost non-anime anatomy. Too bad I couldn’t get the accompanying Spike, which forms a set.

Very nicely cast, only some pinholes around the leg area. The parts are divided extremely well and if done right there should be no visible seams between parts.

I had a lot of fun painting her. Her hot pants and shirt was painted with yellow and shaded with clear yellow, which surprisingly is quite effective. Her cigarette is made with styrene stick and the smoke is made from cotton.
