Simpler look

My site is like 20+ years old, and over time I’ve been less and less keen to add fancy features to it since I couldn’t sustain visitors with lack of updates 🙂  The hosting service is constantly giving me fits about CPU usage and such, so I wonder if I can use a simpler theme that is faster, and the result is this current “Ruby” theme with a bit of customization. I hope it runs faster because the “Sun child” theme I was using previously, while nice to look at, is quite sluggish to load and I don’t quite like the 3-column format which strangely squeezes my images in the middle. Hope this version works better.

  1. I like the new look! If I were to offer any opinion, it’s that I’d like to see the old content again, older galleries, that is. But I imagine you’re close to using up the available space your host provides. No matter, it’s always fun to browse your site, and see if I can learn anything about painting figures.

    Best regards,

  2. I really like that look, obviously it won’t overload your server. Can’t wait when you will move everything on this new “ruby” themeboard.

  3. Thanks for the feedback. I was slowly converting the old content to WP posts and I think I have them all converted… you may need to page through quite a bit to see them but they should be there.
